When line producer Lenny Danko turns up dead in the heart of Toronto's film colony, only two people seem to care: his boss, hyper Hollywood producer, Lou Lazar, and Detective Remy Duff. Lazar sends LA private investigator, Bobbi Stratos, to Toronto to try to avert a PR crisis and, of course, the sparks - romantic and otherwise - begin to fly when she encounters the always engaging Remy Duff. The case ends with an explosive resolution at a famous Canadian landmark.

Duff goes to Manhattan for three week's holiday ...  so he thinks. However, when his cousin, Kelvin, is murdered before his eyes, Duff wants revenge.  To get it, he must go undercover, unofficially, in New York City, a place he only knows as a visitor.  

Once he starts, the game turns deadly very quickly, but the rules are simple: they kill you, or you get them first.  The action takes place in all corners of the Five boroughs, with a shocking revelation and showdown at a seaside mansion on the Island.

Heavyweight Canadian boxing champion, Tobey Johns, is ranked number five in the world.  His main problem is his temper: it spins out of control, and that both helps and hinders his fight career.  When Tobey hooks up with mobbed-up manager, Angelo Marchese, he gets the title shot he seeks, but his world is turned upside down along the way and Tobey is traveling in lethal company.  

It is up to Duff to try to save Tobey from deadly consequences.

The story moves around the boxing capitols of America: Philly, Foxwoods, Vegas, Jersey City.
